About and missions

Founded in 1957, Entraide Nationale is a public welfare body endowed with legal status and financial independence, operating under the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration, and the Family. Operating across all provinces of Morocco, the institution coordinates extensive social safety nets for vulnerable citizens. It manages the national network of Centers for Guidance and Assistance to Persons with Disabilities (COAPH), which register families, evaluate specialized developmental needs, and facilitate access to adaptive schooling, assistive mobility devices, and social cohesion subsidies.

Furthermore, Entraide Nationale operates community-based Social Assistance Units (UMASS) providing front-line psychological listening, marital and family mediation, and tailored vocational orientation. The institution oversees the certification and monitoring of Social Welfare Centers (EPS) providing residential protection to children deprived of families, women survivors of domestic crises, and elderly dependent persons across urban and rural zones.

Support and services

Processing social fund applications for assistive mobility technology, inclusive education, and micro-income projects. Community and family dispute mediation via UMASS units. COAPH Centers: An Integrated Hub for Disability Assessment and Inclusion

The birth of a child with special developmental needs or an incapacitating accident places immense emotional and administrative burdens on households. Entraide Nationale's COAPH centers act as accessible single-window hubs. Social workers carry out multidisciplinary assessments, guide parents through statutory assistance mechanisms, and facilitate entry into state-subsidized specialized education programs, lifting major emotional anxiety from family caregivers.

Family Mediation and Proactive Domestic Dispute Resolution

Within provincial delegations, Entraide Nationale social assistance units provide confidential mediation services for conflicted couples and households. Certified mediators work to de-escalate domestic friction, prevent child abandonment, and foster mutual agreements regarding child care and financial stability. This preventative intervention preserves children's psychological well-being and mitigates the emotional fallout of litigious courtroom divorces.
