About and missions

Founded in 1991 by dedicated parents and specialists and recognized as a public-utility entity, ANAIS is a leading institution in Morocco supporting individuals with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities. From inception, it discarded custodial care models in favor of developmental enrichment, individual dignity, and active civic empowerment.

ANAIS provides a lifelong continuum of educational and habilitative care ranging from infant early intervention to adult employment inclusion. Operating across its main Casablanca Oasis center and its innovative agro-ecological farm in Bouskoura, the organization demonstrably shows that individuals with intellectual conditions can master meaningful trades and build sustained independence.

Support and services

Infant early intervention blending psychomotor development, sensory stimulation, and parent mentoring.
Adapted special education classrooms tailored to individual learning rhythms and communication skills.
Pre-vocational workshop training in culinary arts, packaging, catering, handicrafts, and administrative tasks.
Agricultural and horticultural apprenticeship at the Bouskoura farm (organic gardening, green space maintenance).
Job placement assistance in open labor markets or supervised vocational workshops.
Adapted athletic programs (swimming, therapeutic riding, track) alongside drama and visual arts studios.
Psychological support unit and social assistance for family members and primary caregivers.
