About and missions

Founded in 1971 and designated a public utility in 1972, the Moroccan Family Planning Association (AMPF) is the country's flagship civil society organization advancing sexual, reproductive, and relational health. An accredited member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), AMPF operates medical-social health centers across the Kingdom, delivering an integrated approach connecting clinical care, psychological balance, and family well-being.

The association prioritizes youth and adolescents through dedicated Youth Spaces (Espaces Jeunes). Within these confidential and non-judgmental facilities, qualified psychologists and counselors provide empathetic listening, address identity development and emotional distress, prevent risky behaviors, and deliver trauma-informed casework for survivors of gender-based violence. Concurrently, AMPF offers structured marital mediation and parenting guidance, equipping couples to resolve relational crises constructively and sustain supportive environments for their children.

Youth Spaces: Confidential Intake and Adolescent Mental Health

Adolescence constitutes a critical transition marked by physical, emotional, and social transformations that can trigger acute anxiety and isolation. AMPF Youth Spaces offer a protective sanctuary where young people talk freely without fear of judgment. Clinical psychologists address academic stress, self-esteem building, interpersonal relationships, and adolescent mood disorders, promoting self-worth and responsible autonomous decision-making.

Marital Mediation and Positive Parenting Support Services

Communication breakdowns within couples and persistent domestic friction directly jeopardize children's emotional equilibrium. AMPF delivers structured marital counseling and family mediation led by practitioners grounded in systemic family therapy. Interventions rebuild constructive dialogue, clarify co-parenting roles, and de-escalate toxic friction, helping households navigate crises while safeguarding the emotional security of children.
