Overview and session format

Speaking up, meeting new people or feeling observed can become a source of apprehension. This group offers a respectful space to discuss social anxiety, sometimes called social phobia, and the isolation that can accompany it.

Led by Adil El Hassani, it will explore:
- Fear of judgement and difficult social situations.
- The effects of avoidance on relationships and plans.
- The need for safety, respect and trust within a group.
- Resources and possibilities for connection that participants wish to explore.

Participation is gradual and follows each person’s pace. Listening without speaking is welcome; nobody is required to speak in front of the group or take part in a role-play. This is a psychosocial support space, not a treatment protocol for social anxiety disorder.

In-person meetings in Agadir, following an initial conversation with the facilitator.
