Mohammed VI National Centre for Persons with Disabilities (CNMH)
National benchmark institution dedicated to multidisciplinary clinical evaluation, neuromotor rehabilitation, psychiatric and developmental care for autism, and social rehabilitation for persons with disabilities.
About and missions
Inaugurated under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Mohammed VI National Centre for Persons with Disabilities serves as the foundational pillar for early diagnostic intervention and specialised clinical support across Morocco. Structured around a headquarters in Sale and regional sections nationwide, the centre applies an integrated biopsychosocial model combining physical rehabilitation, child and adolescent psychiatry, speech-language therapy, psychomotor therapy, and specialised pedagogy. Its medico-social department guarantees early differential assessment and individualized support programs, ensuring continuous family-centred care. The extensive clinical expertise cultivated over decades has enabled the institutionalization of evidence-based early intervention protocols. The centre places fundamental emphasis on close, structured cooperation between clinical practitioners, specialized educators, and families, recognizing parents as indispensable co-therapists in their child's developmental journey.

The CNMH establishes national standards for clinical assessment and rehabilitative intervention. Through its regional departments in Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, Oujda, Tangier, Casablanca, and Safi, the institution ensures equitable territorial access to modern rehabilitative technologies. This structured governance guarantees clinical audit transparency, continuous quality assessment of delivered therapies, and constant alignment with international benchmarks in functional and neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Clinical poles, neurodevelopment and rehabilitation
The facility operates around three core departments: the medical and functional rehabilitation department for sensorimotor diagnosis, the socio-educational department specialised in adapted education and autism interventions, and the vocational training department promoting youth socio-economic autonomy. The clinical facilities feature state-of-the-art technological systems that facilitate gait retraining, sensory integration, and the strengthening of executive functions compromised by early neurological damage or severe developmental delays.
Admission pathway and family support system
Admission begins with a thorough triage consultation where a specialised multidisciplinary board defines an individualized intervention strategy. Families benefit from structured parent training workshops, therapeutic education sessions, and continuous psychological support to prevent caregiver burnout.
